PhD Internship - Drug Discovery Using 3D Cell Culture Technology
Are you a Master or PhD student eager to gain hands-on experience in drug discovery and 3D cell culture technology? Gelomics is offering vocational internships to current Australian postgraduate students (minimum 3 months) where you’ll work on a groundbreaking project showcasing the advantages of 3D cell culture models over traditional 2D systems.
What You’ll Do:
- Design and execute a drug discovery study comparing 3D cell culture models to 2D approaches.
- Assess drug efficacy and toxicity using advanced 3D culture platforms.
- Analyze and interpret data to demonstrate the predictive value of 3D models in drug screening.
- Collaborate with our scientific team to optimize experimental design and methodologies.
- Present findings that contribute to the growing field of animal-free preclinical testing.
Who We’re Looking For:
- A current Master or PhD candidate in cell biology, pharmacology, bioengineering, or a related field.
- Experience with cell culture techniques (preferably with 3D models is a plus).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
